ABOUT ME

Hi! I am Heather.

Thank you for considering me to be your photographer! I am currently based out of Lubbock, Texas, but I love traveling to different cities, states and countries for Weddings. I love what I do and I love photographing all the precious memories for my clients.

My photography style is different than most. I use a mixture of Film and Digital and I think this is the best of both worlds. The end result is gorgeous and I love sharing these pictures with my clients. I have been featured on Wedding Chicks, Style Me Pretty, Trendy Bride, The Knot Texas Magazine and many more!

Here are some fun facts about me:

- Jesus Christ is my Savior and I am where I am today because of HIM.
- I love meeting new people and photographing all their special moments.
- I started my business 8 years ago and I have loved every minute of it! I have gone to so many amazing workshops throughout the years and learned from some of the best Wedding & Portrait Photographers in the United States. Here are some of the amazing workshops I was blessed to go to and learn so much from these talented photographers: Two Pair Photography, Lauren Clark Photography, Captured by Shan Renee, Ryan Ray Photography, Renew by Ginny Corbett Photography, Jen Huang Photography in New York City, Amelia Lyon Photography, Erich McVey Photography, Jess Barfield Photography, Sara Hasstedt Photography and Taylor Lord Photography. All of these photographers are so talented and I learned so much from them and feel blessed to have got to meet them.  

- I photograph Weddings & Portrait Sessions primarily with my film camera, but I also photograph with my digital camera as well. Film photography is my favorite type of photography and it is what you will see in Wedding magazines and blogs.
- One thing that has impacted my life in a major way was seeing my mom pass away right in front of me. She fought hard and battled the H1N1 flu Virus also known as the Swine Flu from January 2, 2014- February 2, 2014. It changed my aspect on life and showed me what really mattered in life and the MOST important thing in life is knowing God and having a relationship with him. I am so blessed because my mom taught me so much about God and I am so thankful for that. I realized from that experience that the things in this world are not important, the people in your lives are important. My momma was my biggest supporter with my photography and she always wanted to see all my new photos. My mom inspires every day and I want to make her proud and I know she is watching me from Heaven and she is smiling down watching her baby girl do a job she absolutely loves! Also I realized how important pictures are to you because I am so thankful I have pictures of my mom. So with this being said, I love my job and I know how priceless pictures are to everyone and I will absolutely work my hardest for each and every one of my clients.
